At my place (Victoria, British Columbia) there are a great many huge and very early snowdrops. No idea what kind, but they start blooming in December. By now the blooms are ending and great big leaves have grown out. Raindrops collect on the leaves; my old cat (recently deceased) used to lick the water off the snowdrop leaves. Apparently it was a treat for him.
Brrr! Too cold and damp for open doors and smelling snowdrops, and although this is further south on a visit to Elder Daughter I think it is still the same back home…
We have been so lucky to have a few odd days when the temperature has gone up to 10 degrees. I’m at the ready to take advantage of every such occasion 🙂 x
They are! 🙂

No snowdrops and no opening doors for at least 6 weeks! 😦 But I’m enjoying looking at yours! 🙂

Thanks, Karen. I dream of escaping to a tropical isle nearly every morning at this point in the winter!

Ahhh! Oirs are just getting going but the cats show little interest in them.
