What a brilliant glow is emerging from the centre of the crocus Karen. A flower that provides a most tasty snack for any passing bee at this time of year.

Karen is a wonderful photo that announces spring and new life. A bee eating inside a strong blue crocus with yellow pistils overflowing with pollen. Eager pollen for the bee after the cold winter. The first bees buzzing around the hellebores and snowdrops are such a joy. They sleepily bumble about. I can’t wait to see if we get a wild bees nest above our bedroom window again this year. Waking up the sound of bees is a heavenly thing. Made us very happy indeed.
